The Ponds

Wind around two freshwater ponds rich with wildlife — herons fishing at the edge, baby ducks in spring, vast water lilies in yellow and deep red. The ecosystems here are as layered as anywhere on the estate.Don't leave without finding Pride Rock: a 12-metre cliff formation that funnels the full 60-metre rainforest drop down into Lehid Harbour. It's a natural seat for an afternoon — a book, a picnic, and the wildlife moving across the water below.
