The Sloe & Quickie Paths

Immerse in the living landscape

Two paths weave around five seasonal ponds, each edged with mature specimens of rare temperate rainforest plants. Blackthorn trees yield their sloe berries in autumn. Sequoia, Japanese Alder and a stunning collection of conifers reach overhead to frame Knockatee Hill. From January to May, cascades of white, pink and red camellias stop visitors in their tracks — flanked by ornamental rhododendrons, mahonia, pittosporum, and the vivid bristles of red, green and yellow bottlebrush in bloom.
